Day 001 – Shifting The Responsibility

What do you do when people don’t want to work? Do we fail at doing the work or push through with it to get it done?

No editing. My first “Audio A Day” post.

Let’s see how podcasting works!

I like helping those who need help. Kind of like superman without the tights. To put it simply, you are in the right place. Thanks for reading.

Shifting responsibility sounds a lot like the role that management plays all the time. I have seen this a lot and it is been in the back of my mind every time another responsibility gets assigned to me. It's good if you the one doing it.. haha but bad if it's done to you or if you really care to get work done.

So true... Being a manager, I've forced to do it but I hate it. It makes you stall for everything and the project takes much longer to finish that way. In some respects, I feel like I'm just manipulating others to get what I want. I think everyone is trying to do that... It's terrible.

Well I don't think it's a good thing to learn. Work should be fun when you love your job. So if one shifts his/her job, guess it can only mean one thing.......

Well shifting responsibility would actually be nice if the person shifts part of his/her salary as well :) Otherwise, I think it's a bad attitude towards work . You get fully paid to do your job, so you should do every bit of it.

That's what I'm saying! But, even my boss is teaching me this. I hate it because work is never finished that way. Yet, some people use this as a tactic to buy more time and give the result that you want to hear "It's done". I dunno... Is anyone for that or is it just something that people use when they have no choice?
